For more than 35 years, Plymouth has celebrated Palm Sunday by adopting the Central American tradition of creating las alfrombas (flower carpets) in front of the church.
In 2020, las alfombras in front of the church was limited due to social distancing in the year of COVID-19.
The tradition continued, however, as flowers were delivered to families throughout the county and they created las alfombras at their own homes, on their own sidewalks.
