June was Pride Month at Plymouth and we celebrated in so many ways! The sanctuary was decked out all month…

June 4 was Pride Sunday and Chris Kosakowski, Board President of CNY Pride, offered a moving message entitled, “How to Spread Love in a Time of Hate”

We hosted the CNY Pride interfaith service on Tuesday, June 6 where many faiths celebrated the LGBTQIA+ community. A scrumptious reception followed, complete with rainbow covered strawberries.

On June 10, we gathered for the CNY Pride Parade.

And marched with our Sage Upstate brothers and sisters.

Our booth at the Pride Festival was very popular, especially when the rainbow jello came out!

We were sponsors of the CNY Gay 5K. Thank you, Barbara Genton, for coordinating this event on behalf of Sage Upstate.

We closed out the month with our final Jazz and Justice worship service on June 26, featuring Dan Dee and Friends in a Plymouth Pride Drag Show: “Thank you for Being a Friend.”
