Volunteer to help Plymouth during the the Downtown Arts and Crafts Festival, July 26-28.
A lot of you know that Plymouth’s ideal location puts us in the middle of things during the run of the annual Downtown Arts and Crafts Festival. For those who don’t know, this is how it works: Plymouth sells space to crafters in the church (prepaid prior to event) and with the help of volunteer Plymouth bakers, we offer cookies and brownies in addition to beverages for sale in the front of the church. All income generated is from the “outside” public, unless of course, a Plymouth member can’t resist a great cookie or a famous Raspberry Nut Bar baked in the church during the week leading up to the festival. Our only expense will be the ingredients for the Raspberry Bars!
Simple, right? Here’s the catch. Volunteers are needed during the duration of this event. We have over sixty 3-hour shifts to fill. And to be honest, filling these shifts has not been an easy task the past few years. So please… Mark your calendars, fill out a sign up sheet found in the June bulletins and put it in the offering plate, or sign up on the poster in back of the Sanctuary. Offer to help. Our fundraising efforts will not work without you. Volunteer! We will be delighted!
